Hubby is 16 years older than me - age really isn't important to us (he acts like a big kid anyway
). This year will be our 22nd wedding anniversary. Together for 24 years. I get an extra 16 years of life experience and there's not much danger of being traded in for a younger mode;

It is true that a large age gap can mean that one person is left alone for a longer time after the other one passes, but I'd rather have the time given together having found the right person for me. Besides, anything could happen to anyone at anytime (although we all hope it doesn't), so I make the most of everyday

We're the opposite - I'm 5 days older. I do have friends who have a large age gap between them and it works well. It's all about the couple!
