So if nobody bother too much other then when needed, They will sometimes move them to throw off predators

She has put them where SHE feels they are safe, and where it is dark and private for now. I suggest to leave them and do not handle them for now. Let mama kitty do her thing. :)

I know that feeling of relief though. It's such a shock to go over to the nest and see no kittens! That's how the predators feel. And that's why mama moves them. It's instinctual.
Amazing creatures!

Update: all three babies eyes are open! However i was holding them all and petting them individually when I realized, one of the kittens is missing a front paw. I hadn't noticed it before but I showed my parents and my Dad is now calling her stumpy because of it

Was she born without a paw or has she been injured?
