Hey. My cat eas dewormed on 25th sep and today is 3rd oct. Its been 9 days now my cat is very lazy and sleeps. He has stopped playing with his toys and with another cat (which he used to play daily) now all he does is eats and sleeps or just lay down. I got him checked again by the vet but he said everythings is okay.. hes eating well drinking well. But all im worried of hes all healthy and fine why he has stopped playing and being active after deworming. Im really worried.

I’m sorry to hear that your cat doesn’t seem to be quite acting himself. Allergic reactions to the deworming medication would be more immediate, so something else could be going on that’s making him not feel well. It’s good that you were able to get him checked over again by the vet. You can go to another vet to get a second opinion, maybe your first vet just missed something.
That would have been exactly my advice. I really doubt that the wormer is at fault, but he should be checked again, just in case!
