Hey all-
My Kitty(F-11 yrs) is like a medical mystery- I am wondering if someone else has been through this.
2 years ago I noticed Kitty was throwing up daily, very constipated- straining to poo. A few days later she began peeing outside the box and I noticed she had bloody pee...oh boy.
She we took her to the vet and we had every test run evrything was negative. No UTI- no crystals, no stones, normal levels in the bood....I believe we even had x-rays-nothing showed. The vet did put her on an antibiotic(which Kitty threw most of them up) and I did change her food to Hill'sScience diet for sensitive tummies. She had been on Purina for years and Nutro Max for a short while before.
Soooo- with all that- she miracously stopped peeing blood- no more throw up and eventuall the pooping became more normal!
Relief.
Except for last week- she peed in the box while i was changing the litter and it was bloody! I couldn't bring her to the vet for a few days and in the meanwhile she was peeing on rugs, blankets and clothes- the blood was pretty evident. Also the throwing up is back, and the constipation is getting worse.
The only changes over the past few months are: New cat-5 months ago- he mostly stays away from her. And I also started mixing some senoir formula nutro max with her sensitive tummy food. The vet could not find anything in her blood tests, red and whites a little low- nothing serious- her glands seemed fine. We are just waiting to go back and get a urine sample, Kitty wouldn't pee there.
SO that is my story- I am wondering if anyone can relate or help us out here!
