my cat is pregnant, although i am not sure how far along exactly, but i could feel and see the kittens moving just over a a week ago and she is rather large. this all started last wed when i really thaught she was going to hyave them, i will try my best to explain..
wed, few unregular contractions, calling out, meowing
thursday-same
friday, lost a small bit of mucus stuff which i assumed was her mucus plug and her vulva is swollen and looks like a bit of clear discharge, few contractions again,
sat-same
sun-lost more mucus stuff,panting,meowing,still eating
today-same as above but hardly any contractions now and she is very calm and seems quite happy, she is still eating and drinking and hasnt tried to push any kittens out atall, the kittens are still moving, can someone please tell me whats going on?she has also held her whiskers against her face and been squinting alot. this is her second litter and the first time round she gave me 12 hrs notice and she had them.
can cats get pre-labour symptoms
is this a false labour
or could there be an problem,
i will take her to the vet if she begins pushing with no success or seems distressed in any way.
thanks
