We found two stray kittens on our porch at the office today. They look about 4 weeks old, and I expect the mother has deposited them here because it's pouring rain outside. they have fleas but aren't they too young to be treated for fleas? At this age, can they eat soft food? We've given them milk which they have drunk. Any thoughts on what we can do for them? It's 78 degrees here so no problems with keeping them warm.

At four weeks, they will still be needing a commercially available kitten formula or the home-made kitten glop (as in the link sharky gave). Definitely try feeding some soft KITTEN food. Don't feed cow's milk as this can cause tummy upsets.

Firstly, thanks for looking after these babies.
Secondly, it is not good to give them cow's milk - cats often have an intolerance to lactose and the cow milk can give them diahrea which can quickly dehydrate a small kitten. It would be best to get the kitten milk at your local pet store.
They can be treated for fleas, but you should really take them to a vet and let him prescribe the correct product and dosage for their size/weight. Using any over-the-counter products could cause more harm to the kitties and it often isn't very effective in actually killing the fleas.
