Hello there,
I need some advice....
I recently saw this 2 yr old Sphynx for sale/adopting.... now it has a grade 3 heart mumor and polyps in his throat (he has been spayed though). So the lady said she would take any offer for this Sphynx because she is too busy to take care of him. Now, I asked her some more questions about the cat and I don't really know what to think of the answered I received. Tell me what you think after reading her and I's conversations:

Hello,
What kind of special requirements does your little kitty require? Any special medication? Is he able to get his polyps removed? If so, what has a vet advised you on costs and treatment? Also, does he like other kitties or is he a dominant male? I have a special requirement, male red point siamese cat (neutered) and I know it can be very hard.
Thanks for the info,
SF

due to the fact that i just found out tht he had a confirmed heart murmur and throat polyps, from his brief previous owners (the reason why he ws returned to me). he is not on any medication. he will probably need medication and i think that the polyps will need removal if they are bothering him. i have no idea of vet costs. he is a great cat, i just do not have time for him. he is very affectionate and is great with all animals.
he does need a home asap and i am open to offers.
let me know if you are still interested

Hello,
I have a few more questions, hope you don't mind
Are you a breeder (just curious)? How many homes has he had? How many animals do you have currently (I have three cats currently - 2 girls and 1 boy *all altered and spoiled
), I just want to make sure he'd be ok with three other cats. Is he up to date on all his vaccines? Are you located in the T area? I am going to give my vet a call and get more info on costs because I would hate to see him suffer because I can't afford treatment. Finally my last question - how much money are you looking for him?
Thanks!

no i am not a breeder. i have one domestic cat. he has one owner before me (i got him at 9mos.) then he had new owners for a month (from june to july). they returned him to me because of his health issues that i did not know about. i have a very busy schedule and cannot give him the time and attention that he needs and deserves. he is a wonderful little handsome guy. he is great with others cats, however may need a little time to adjust. he is not up to date with his shots. i am in S. as for money, i am open to offers.

What do you think of this? Something does not seem to add up about this poor little kitty (he has had three homes!?). Why is everyone so quick to give up a Sphynx kitty? I can understand the health issues but it appears his first owners got rid of him too!? I am just worried there is more going on that I am not being told about - Tell me what you think! Also, have any of you adopted a little one with multiple owners? That really breaks my heart to hear that
Thanks,
SF
