Hi
These two wee kittens were abandoned in my veterinary practice yesterday so i took them home.
They both have flu symptoms so im injecting them with antibiotics daily and eyedrops.
One has its leg removed. Looks to have been torn off. It also has one eye removed. The surgeon is going to remove the rest of the leg and stitch the eye when old enough for anaesthetic.
Has anyone ever witnessed anything like this before because ive never seen it. So disturbing but im hopeful i can get it better and keep it because its done so well to get this far on its own. Also having a lot of bother trying to get it to go toilet. The other one is fine but this one seems a bit swoll and its even hard to sex it but i think its male. It peed once last night. I have a litter box in which they dont seem to be using yet. They are on formula and i introduced royal canin weaning tins this morning which they love and are eating already. They are approximately 4 weeks i think.
Any advice?
