Hey everyone,
Has anybody tried AATU? I could find very few mentions of it, and most of them are from 2-4 years back.
I liked the ingredient list, but would be glad to get any real feedback :)

I'll post it here. They claim to have 85% of chicken in it, which sounds amazing (can't tell how true it is though).

Hi! I can't give true feedback as I've not heard of this so haven't tried it but it looks like a possibly decent food, if your cat(s) like it :)

It seems to have an awful lot of useless fruits and herbs and stuff in both the dry and canned / wet
I'd have a particularly difficult time justifying the chickpeas and peas in the ingredients the OP copied in. (They look to be in at least some of the wet foods, too.) Cats just shouldn't be eating peas and chickpeas.

I have seen it where I buy my cat food but not tried it. Many of the ingredients are good but like most cat food, some, such as chickpeas are questionable. Having said that, I've yet to find a cat food with 'perfect' ingredients.

If you're referring to dry food, yes, in Europe I know only one brand that is pretty decent (Power of Nature), but when it comes to wet food, I'd say we have some that are very good as far as processed food goes, with no fillers, no gums, no peas etc. I'd recommend Power of Nature wet, Grau, Granata Pet, Catz Finefood, Feringa. These are not available in the supermarkets but I've seen them in the small pet stores in at least several European countries, plus most of them (but Power of Nature) can be bought online in most of Europe, with free shipping from zooplus. I miss these cans dearly now when I moved out of Europe, especially their price (much cheaper than American brands).

I used to feed Aatu to my girl (sadly no longer with me). She adored it. I think it's a pretty decent dry food, all things considered, but expensive for the quality. I switched to a lower energy kibble after she went on steroids and struggled to keep her weight down.

My boys are ultra fussy these days, and will only eat True Instinct by Nature's Menu for kibble. Other kibbles I like (in no particular order) are Applaws, Purizon (from Zooplus), and Porta 21 (also from Zooplus). Eden 85/15 is good too, imo (from Eden Cat Food - Products). There are other decent kibble brands in the UK, but those are the ones I've personally used. None of them are perfect when it comes to ingredients, but they're all pretty good for dry food.

I much prefer to feed wet food, but kibble is the only way to keep my fussy, stressy boy eating enough to keep his weight up.

I love all She's a witch She's a witch 's wet food suggestions (and have used all but Grau and Power of Nature, which I've not come across). Nature's Menu original and Country Hunter wet foods are great too, as are Thrive Complete (the pure meat ones, not the ones with veggies), Blink (available in Tesco), Purely Holistic (Pets at Home), Aatu, Smilla, Bozita, Cattesy in jelly (Zooplus again - great budget option), and many others. Pure meat wet food without fillers is really easy to come by in the UK, though mostly from specialist pet stores rather than supermarkets.

At the moment he is on RC Urinary as he has stress related UTI my vet seems to think.. He is allergic to chicken but by some miracle he loves this and it agrees with him. Before this he was on mostly dry food and I wonder if the dry caused this issue and not stress. Once he has been healthy for a while I will be looking for a good quality wet in gravy that he will eat. Whoever said cats were easy pets got that wrong.
