It is true that we are all self - selecting up to a point. People who care deeply about their cats are likely to care about other things and people too, and to be aware about general issues. Having said that, it is wonderful how many different nationalities, cultures, ages, religions and political views are represented on this board and we all get on, even if we argue sometimes. But that happens in all the best families!

1) The majority of us are women
2) We are relatively well off enough financially to afford PC's and Internet access, as well as treat our kits like kings and queens.
3) We like cats and the majority of us would qualify as being at the upper level of "animal lover".

Basically, we all have more in common than the average random 1,000 people.
That's true - that's why I said if it were an accurate representation of the world the world would be a much nicer place!!
