I saw this while my mom and I were driving yesterday. The dog was not leashed, and the person was driving on a 55 mph road (straight into a thunderstorm). A kid in the backseat has his hand out the window and the dog was leaning outside of the truck bed to lick it. They drove right past a cop who didn't even bat an eye. Am I the only one for thinking this is extremely irresponsible and unsafe? My mom was fuming about how people like this shouldn't be allowed to have pets, and I have to agree. She was about ready to stop and confront them but I made her keep driving.. but now I'm thinking we should have done something (other than flip them the finger! LOL). What if the dog was afraid of thunder and jumped out of the bed, or if they got in a wreck? Nothing was holding her down, and they were going 60 miles an hour...
And before I get called out on it, I wasn't driving when I took the picture. My mom was.
