I have a weird question and I hope someone here might know the answer.
Does drinking milk cause a lot of phleem (sp) to build up?
The reason I am asking this is our dog Opie drinks milk. He loves it. He thinks everytime I open the refrigerator I am supposed to give him some milk, and I usually do because he looks at me with sad eyes.
Anyways I have noticed that he coughs a lot, he doesn't have heartworms or nothing, we have had him checked.
I was chatting with some internet friends the other night and one of the people mentioned that milk causes phleem (sp). If it does, I was wondering if there was anything else I could give Opie instead of milk. I just don't wanna quit giving that to him, he just seems to love it so much.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
