On Friday past I had my kitten into the vet because he has stinky breath. The vet looked at his teeth and guns and said that since he has recently lost a bunch of teeth and his gums are a little red we would give it two months and then reassess. So today I thought I would take a little peek to see how things are looking and smelling and he has black on the center of his tongue!!!! I googled and came up with everything from cancer(unlikely apparently in such a young cat) to toxoplasmosis and yeast infection??I am certain it has not always been there. He did have a lick of Midnights L-Lysine Gel this morning. I'mnot sure of that could cause something like that to happen if he was somehow allergic to it?He is acting totally normal, eating, drinking, trying to eat everything that hits the floor etc.  He is his spunky little self. Do I need to panic and run to the vet for the third time in less then 2 weeks?? Advice??

I'd call the vet in the morning and ask about it.
