6-4 toes ?

Well the dew claw is not really a toe, its just a claw. There is no paw pad on it. That is what most normal cats have. Polydactyls actually have a thumb with a paw pad.

Five - as in the 4 toes and the one that is a little higher - don't know if you'd call it "dewclaw" as in a dog - its usless - cats do use all 5 claws on their foot.

Ah, well, if we count normal as 5, then Puppy has 7 and 8 on the front feet.

2 extra on one foot, and 3 extra on the other.
