Hi, My name is Louisiana and I just found this site today. I think it is great that there are many other people out there who consider their cats to be "kids". I have four cats and I love them so much. They are
Clarence and Roger, blue colored twins, that I got as babies from a friend. I meant to only get one cat, but they were the only two and I couldn't bear to separate them. Now, Clarence is a little bit bigger, but sometimes when I really sleepy it takes me a minute to tell them apart. They both love to sleep in my bed. Victoria is my next cat, she is a tricolor and I call her Pretty, because thats what she is. I saw an ad online on a forum website for school (MI State) that someone had found her as a stray, but couldn't keep her since their persians didn't like her. I couldn't let her go to the pound, so I snuck her home and told my boyfriend that she just showed up at our door. She used to be very tiny, I think from poor nutrition/being young, but now she is filled out. Oscar (the Grouch) is my last cat, he is from the shelter (http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/ficas.html) and I picked him because he looks so crazy that no one was adopting him. The vert said he is part Maine Coon, so he is very furry and likes to talk all the time. Sometimes he even sits up straight like people in chairs. All four have such crazy personalities, Clarence is headstrong, Roger is sassy, Pretty is very snobby and Oscar is loving and gentle. Besides them, we have a 7 mo. old Husky puppy, Naomi, who is the bane of all of our existence. She is my boyfriend's dog. Thankfully, she can't go down steps, so the cats have the whole basement to themselves. The other is a Chinese Water Dragon, named Confucious, him and that cats both consider themselves out to eat the other. I am almost not sure who would win in a one on one fight.
I really like to talk about my cats, as you can tell, and I like all the kitty stuff on this site a lot. ( All of my pets are spayed and neutered, cats with claws! )
