So we went to the 4-H fair today. It's for the children in the sense that they clean, set up, show their animals: sheep, milk goats, meat goats, meat cows, dairy cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, and more. 4th grade through high school.
There's one building where the various clubs can have a display booth - Centaurs 4-H horse club, Fur 'n Feathers 4-H poultry and small animals club, Hunterdon Hoppers 4-H rabbit club, Kick Butt Kids 4-H goat club etc. And there was a 4-H cat club booth! Various posters and signs "Whose reality is it anyhow, yours or your cats" and one about "cattitude" and more.
They meet twice a month to talk about cats and learn about their care and feeding. Friendly well behaved cats are welcome to attend too. And they're looking for new members, ideally around 12 years old.
What a super idea, wish I was young enough to join . . . .
