Hi there,
i have been reading about all your little fur babies(they all sound adorable!) and I can tell that early morning stirrings are not unusual for them, but how can you get them to ease back a bit?
George starts crying outside the gate every morning at 4:00 am! I have pretty bad allergies so he can not come in our bedroom, but we donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t like to close the door- the air gets stagnant in there and kind of claustrophobic...so we leave the door partially open and have one of those room divider screens up in the hallway. He hates this is always wants to get in, I feel bad that he can not, but I have to have one room that he is not in so when my allergies are bad I can go and breathe. I know he would come in and snuggle with us if he could
Anyhow, every morning at 4:00 he at the gate crying and crying and crying...I try to ignore him, cause I know nothing is wrong with him, but it is hard cause I get up at 4:40- and once he starts crying at 4:00 I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t really sleep for those 40 minutes- and I really need them! I have tried to close the bedroom door a bit, but I can still hear him.
I have started to feed him a bit later at night- 6:00. I usually go to be a 9:00. I play with him at night trying to get him tired, I clean his litter box twice a day...I am not sure what he is looking for, maybe nothing and it is just his natural- and I am an early riser, but i just want those 40 minutes back
Any ideas?
Thanks!
shannon
