This will be the 2nd litter of kittens for my cat. She had 4 the first time. Will the number of kittens increase after the first litter? Is there any way to tell how many babies she will have? What are some signs to look for when she gets ready to have her babies?

Is there any reason why you are letting your cat have kittens Tweety67 Tweety67 ?

It's really not a good idea to let cats keep having litter after litter. Not only does it mean there are more kittens that need homes, it also has a bad effect on her health.

Please take a look at these articles.

There's no reason to think she will have more kittens this time than she did last time. 4 kittens is about average. Make sure she is kept indoors, has a good diet and is spayed after this litter.
