I wish Cleos next show was that close.
We have to leave by 5am to get there on time.
Have fun sleeping on the mattress.
My sister used to have one until the cats slashed it.
You have any pictures?
you were right about the mattress

btw, we've had many throughout the years, except for a couple of overweight extended family members, most of them WERE due to cat slashing. It's frustrating how appealing air mattresses are to cat claws.

about the pics, no I don't have any except the ones on my cell phone for best of the best. Idiot me forgot the camera
. I guess I will have to take a couple of pics with the ribbons at home so I can have something for the scrapbook I am putting together for him.

Edit: Wellington cats - thank you. He didn't have as good a day, but it could have been worse. Still the judges liked him. One specifically encouraged me to show him some more (another thought all of them would be perfect).

Today's results (again out of five, except three for shorthair):

one second best shorthair
two third best allbreed
and three fourth best allbreed

He got third best of best HHP kitten at the end of the show. Part of the prize besides the nice ribbon was a cat shaped bottle of wine which I will certainly be enjoying
.

Also, Nial's cats got a couple of ribbons. He has nice cats.

When is the next show?
If a judge says to show him again do it.
You never know what will happen.
That is nice prize.
Does TICA always give prizes besides Rosettes and Ribbons?
I am glad Nials cats got something also.
He gave me some names of good Bengal breeders for my sister.
All cats seem to claw the mattresses.
I wouldlove to see what the ribbons looked like.

My show report isn't quite as exciting as Top Cat's

Secret agent Man showed both days, only finaling once, with a 3rd best kitten. He was pretty grumpy for some reason and that hurt him big time.

Next show for him will be as an altered adult.

I showed Tuscany on Sunday as a 2.5 year old alter. Her first show since she was a kitten. She got best of breed in 5 of 6 rings, finaled in one as 4th best alter, which earned her Champion status.

The best news was the regional awards.

Rome got 2nd best Bengal kitten for the southeast region.

Runner got best Maine Coon alter of the year for southeast region and 9th best all breed alter. Got a big plaque and a huge rossette.

Way to go for both of you. Jack gets to go against the "big boys' in August as he's starting in the altered classes. Hope he gets the hard to get top 5 AB ones quickly!

Congratulations to you both! Especially Runner.

My next show is this weekend - is our big 6 ring Longhair speciality show and we have an entry of 88! I'm really looking forward to it as my club is hosting Guy Heranval from France.
