So sorry about the outcome, but hand-rearing tiny kittens is very hard at the best of times and you did well to get as far as 2 weeks with him.  It might or might not have made a difference if you had been able to get antibiotics for him, no-one can know.

I'm so sorry little Racket lost his fight. I'll close this thread now. When you feel up to it you might want to write tribute to all the kittens in Crossing the Bridge.

I am so sorry...oh gosh. I had a not-so-good feeling. Especially the last couple of posts I read on his latest, but certainly did not want to discourage your efforts, you tried your best.

The edema and squishy tummy is the formula/fluids given, his organs stopped processing them.

It's a tragedy that it is nearly impossible to find help and good knowledgable vet care there. This problem almost or did ensure his not survivng.

I'm sorry I couldn't help any.
