Hi - we have adopted 2 kittens from a rescue and they will be coming to live with us in just under three weeks time so at the moment we're getting all the 'kitty' things that we need.

The question I have is with their food and water bowls, I have read that it is better to have seperate bowls for food and water so should I get four bowls (1 each for food and water) or can they share or will they be happy with a food bowl each but to share a water bowl?

Hope this makes sense!!

They can share. I would have one bowl for water and possibly two bowls for food - I have two for mine because at feeding time everyone wants to jump in and there's no room for two heads at one bowl with the bowls we have right now.

"Standards" don't apply to everyone, so feel it out and see what's best for your kitties.
