I have a cat who has obviously got some Siamese in her background and I'm thinking it's pretty close. She's four months old. Her mom was a stray and we have no idea who the daddy was. She's pointed and she's starting to become very long legged and is just a skinny girl all around. Her mother is very petite.

Now possibly stupid question. Do siamese cats, because they're typically pretty long legged, walk later than a typical cat? The reason I ask-

Out of all the cats in the litter (4), she appeared to have trouble walking when the other cats were walking perfectly. It was mainly her back legs. And looking back now, at the pictures, she did have long legs then. I thought maybe it had something to do with their legs growing so fast that their body has to have time to catch up being coordinated with them. I hope that made sence. Thanks!

That's possible. I raised rexes (with long legs) but they were all the same - tho it seems they were 3-4 weeks old before they were more coordinated in walking/running.

I don't know for sure, but my Ziggy has long legs and it took him forever to learn to navigate going down the stairs successfully (without tripping all over himself). It seems his hind end always got ahead of him.
