Wow these cats have grown a lot! I checked all of their weights this morning and we are at 4.3oz, 4.1oz, 3.9oz, and 3oz. This is up from 2.5oz, 2.5oz, 2.4oz, and 2oz birthweight on Saturday. I read 2oz kittens rarely survive but Cayko seems to be a fighter even with an injured paw
.

Here are a couple cute pictures from yesterday:

Since they were early, will it take them longer then average to open their eyes, learn to walk, wean..etc?

I wish! We'll be lucky if we get to keep one. But we are placing them pretty close. One will go back to the breeder too.

I don't think it will take longer with opening their eyes. It will take longer for them to get to a normal weight, and following from that it might take them a little longer to reach development milestones than a normal kitten.

Tomorrow was their due date. They currently weigh a normal kitten weight so in a wierd sort of way they are right on track. They are supposed to double their weight in a week but I think they will have doubled their weight by this Thursday (5-6 days instead of 7). So they are doing very well.

They are so beautiful already! Wow! I can just imagine how pretty they will all be when they are older. Stunning little babes you got there.

What is Meeka? Is she an F2? If she is then they would not be SBT they would be F3's.

oh I just went to solarity bengals site and Meeka is an F3, so yes, the kittens are SBT. Anything below an F3 is considered SBT.

Aww, I am so pleased to hear they are gaining so much weight - bet soon you wont even be able to tell they were too early.

Yah the kittens are F4's or SBT.

Last night my neighbor from back home went over to my moms house and congratulated her on being a grandmother. My mom was very confused until she mentioned the "four grandbabies." Hehe then she caught on :p .

Little Cayko is at 3.5oz! That is 1.5oz up from birth
. The others are all between 4.3-4.5oz right now. The paw also looks pretty good.

Yah I'm between Cayko and Storm for being the pick so far (I know its early though). I'm not sure. Cayko is the only one that shows the ruffoused color that Meeka has and personally I prefer that. Still early to tell. Cayko is also the one with the injured foot, at least that has nothing to do with genetics. I do think her spots are beautiful already...
