Well... this weekend I have to start packing to move. We just sold our house lastnight; we signed the papers, so it's a done deal.

I'm not really doing anything else

We are moving. Finally we don't have to pay for two apartments. We only have to pay one.

That is going to save my sanity.

The county fair is like 3 blocks from my house, so sunday we are going there.
Today I THOUGHT I had freaking day off, but I just got called in. So I'm procrastinating on going in, because this is the second time this week I was called in, the last time I had to work a double 8 hour shift.
I am so peeved.

I had plans tonight to go to my moms and turn on the sprinkler for me & my kid, and drink some beers
, but that obvisouly isnt going to happen.
Ugh...Why cant people just be responsible and show up for thier shift huh?!

Nah, no major plans for us. DH works all weekend.....and well actually what plans we "did" have, kinds got shot down.
My daughter was SUPPOSED to stay all weekend with my grandparents(3 hrs away) and she decided last night she didnt wanna stay so we had to leave and meet them 1/2 way to pick her up. I felt really bad for her-she wanted mommy so bad! But yet at the same time, I was SOOO looking forward to a break(much needed one, at that).

My brother just called and asked if DH and I wanna go to dinner with him and his wife, so if I can find a sitter, we will be doing that.

Nothing extraordinary. Rob Jr took a raincheck for his birthday dinner in June, and is claiming it Saturday night, so that will mean a drive out to Steveston to get a whole mess of prawns at the dock. We'll eat 'em on the lawn, with lots of garlic butter and crusty bread
and a nice Pinot Gris, and worry about the greens some other time.

And aside from that, it's a pretty lazy weekend -- the last of our vacation -- back to work on Monday

I have to attend the school graduation ceremony tomorrow, and the barbecue afterwards. That'll be the 4th Saturday this month for school functions.

Gil and i are on holiday for the next 2 weeks so he's coming down to mine tomorrow lunchtime

He's decorating my house to freshen it up because i'm planning on selling it and moving hopefully this time next year. That should only take 2-3 days, then were going to York for the day and we'll see where else to visit from there

I just got home from a Pampered Chef party. Got some cool gadgets of course. The state fair is going on but I don't think I feel like dealing with crowds in this hot and humid weather. Plus DH is working. So home and cleaning it is for me. Hopefully I can start on my quilt-curtains!

I'll do something, but, I never make plans. Because, quite frankly, my plans NEVER work
I do all my off time activities on a whim. My Green river canoeing escapade was planned in 2 days and 3 on the river.

I do hope to get at least a little riding time in this weekend, if the weather doesn't get ugly.
