OK so after the embarrassing show I gave the construction workers next door I went to meet my husband for lunch since he wasn't too far away.
I pulled up to the jobsite (he's a roofer) and waited for about 10 mins. I had Jake in the truck w/me (as usual) and everytime one of them would walk past the truck Jake would growl. Well when it was time to leave this guy named "Smokey" walked up to the truck window as my husband was about to get in and I told him "Smokey I wouldn't get too close, he's growling" (BTW Jake doesn't normally do this). He says to me "
that I'll punch him the
out if he tries to bite me".
My husband didn't hear it because he was on the other side of the truck. THEN, Smokey and about 3 other guys climb in the back of my truck. I looked at DH and said ":what the
? are they doing?" He said "I dunno, but they need to get out" Well, me having the mouth of the south I got out an said "I don't know where ya'll are going but we're going to our house and you're not invited" Smokey gives me a look that could have killed someone and climbs out along with the other guys. Now the other guys apologized and said "Smokey said ya'll were going to Checkers and it was ok to ride with you" I said "Nah, smokey didn't even ask ME if he could ride with us" Right then Smokey says "
this man,
her..." and on and on. My husband DID hear that! And boy was he
He called the big boss of the company and told him what happened with the dog and his cussing me out....The owner is NOT happy!
I couldn't believe the disrespect! This is the same guy about a week ago that I had words with and told DH about. One more time, and I'LL say something to him!
I know all the guys at his work and some of them I don't mind riding w/us. They are all respectful of me. Matter of fact they all wave and say hi to me every morning...
What gives people the right to do things like this? :angry:
