I have no idea what the temperature is, but upstairs of our townhouse is always heaps hotter than downstairs and our bedrooms are upstairs. not to mention there's only an A/C unit downstairs, and not upstairs!!

It's 12:22am, I have a pedestal fan on and I'm still sweating. it's too hot to sleep. I'm considering sleeping on the couch...

I was on a chocolate high.

This morning it's 73 and feels like 80! I shake my head at people who pay to sit in saunas when all they'd have to do is go outside.

The weekend looks a whole lot better with temps in the 80s and lower humidity.

Oh yeah-I forgot to say how hot it is..lol. Its been 106 and not below that ALL week!!
I heard we in Kansas hit the national record this week for heat index - even hotter than the deserts of the southwest.

It was supposed to cool off overnight and I was disappointed when I woke up to 80 degrees. But within an hour, the front moved thru and its now a beautiful 72. Once the rain stops, I'm opening up all the windows and letting in some wonderful fresh air!!

It really makes it hard to concentrate in class!
I hear you, Fran! The room units they have in Germany are a joke, too. First of all, you have to open the window to put out the vent hose, and secondly, they can only lower the temperature by about 6 degrees Celsius.

I am miserable. Lucky that it isn't as hot here as it is most places (low 90's). But, 7 months pregnant makes low 90's feel like 100's sometimes. I feel sorry for Jerry (my husband aka Papa Squishy)he is a welder and works in a metal building with fire allllllll evening and night.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
It's currently 95 in Portland OR. it was hotter during the day, but now that the sun has gone down, it's cooling off a bit.

My apartment doesn't have AC, but my windows are north and east facing, so I don't get as much sun... I kept my blinds mostly closed today... when I got home the apartment was much cooler than outside... it's not cold, but still at least ten degrees cooler.

I spent all day driving along the Oregon coast. It was somewhere in the 70's there. As I headed home, i could tell I was going inland... it got blazingly hot the longer I drove...

The next two days I'm staying inside with the blinds closed. JJ and Jack are doing fine... the bedrooms are completely dark... and yet Jack is out on his perch in the living room where the blinds are open. Go figure.

I went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory... got some sliced Pepper Jack cheese... oh baby, oh baby!! God, I love their cheese. I also splurged and bought one of their stuffed animals... a cow. I have had a 'thing' for cows for a long time.

Our weather men have been talking about the 'cold' front that came in today. It only got to 102. I ask you, does the word 'cold' really belong there?

It has been hellish hot here also. It has been in the upper 90's to 100 all week. The humidity made it feel much hotter. We finally got some rain this afternoon. It knocked it down to the 70's. Thank you Lord!!
