text messaging

I know when people text message there is limited space I am curious if every one would like to share their abrivations. here are a few of mine

thats some of mine and of course *wen i rite i rite lik dis* just to have more room, lol

I hate abbreviations, i especially hate people using them on the internet, esp ppl wu right lyk dis!

I like some abbreviations like Congrats and simple things everyone can understand. One that drives me crazy that a lot of people here use is DH. I don't know why it bothers me it just does!

I don't really use them too much either... I prefer to sound a little more educated than that...

I dont know what else there is to call your spouse. lol. I just got "DH" from this site actually. I had never heard it before.
I dont like to call him my boyfriend, because he's so much more than that, but we're not married.

What's a good word for that?

I just call my boyfriend Lee! Sorry i had to do it!

lol, same here! The only thing I'll use is like bc (because) or apt (apartment) or appt (appointment)...stuff like that. But I hate "slang" abbreviations.

I plain old don't have the patience to text message anything, I might get 1 word right then have to erase the others to much trouble for me.

same here, my punctuation and cap letters might not be there, but I basically text as I would type on here, the worst I do is mins for minutes and u for you

I dont really do "slang" abbreviations. I have some friends i just can never understand on text messages and I get confused on here a lot which is weird b/c I'm a 19 yr old girl.
