|I might be wrong but I remember you finally captured cow and the babies just before you moved.
I don't know how you did it all????
JJ was recovering from his surgery, you were getting your new place ready, Jimmy was happening....
You are right. All this happened at one time. Cow was real good with her babies after they had been in the house a month or so, she got out and it was heck trying to catch her again in spite of her babies being in the house..... When we finally got her, we took her to the vet to be fixed and she was already pregnant. They would have aborted the kittens and fixed her but they told Juan if any kittens survived he would have to bring them home. He couldnt' do it so he brought Cow back home, pregnant and unfixed and told me what the vet said. We decided to keep her indoors with us and feed her up so her litter would be healthy. That's where tulip and snoopy came from. The others in the litter did not make it. One made it one day, another a couple weeks and one a month or so. They were just weak. The two that made it are top notch and extremely healthy. They are not fixed yet but they have had all their shots.
Here they are now..... they are the most beautiful kittens I have ever seen in my life..
Cow was fixed while she was nursing the babies and did fine. She suffered no milk loss. The vet said it was safe to fix her while she was nursing. The same vet fixed her that told Juan she was pregnant.
These little girls have never known anything but our house... they are active, active active. I bought them 12 huge balls today to roll around when I went to springfield..
OH that's right.... springfield... Let me tell you. I went to springfield, mo to get my 60 lb of felidae cat food that i had ordered. I ended up getting 100 lbs so I won't have to go back for awhile. The traffic was killer. I got lost twice. I haven't been there in 6-7 months...... I bought 12 balls, looked at everything and got the dogs some new pigs ears.. The place I went to was called All About Dog and Cats. It was an awesome store. It was huge and everything was geared to critters. Clothes, toys, chewies, food galore. Grooming, bathing.....complete pet care. I looked around for three hrs. Juan thought I had wrecked the truck. And I went to Lowes and got him a storage shed. a rubbermaid one so I can organize his tools off the porch. I am tired of the clutter of my porch....... I also bought the duraboard [concrete board for the wood burning stove. We are going to mortor rocks on it. so I have a new project.
I got to git. I still have to unload the car. At least what I can. I am only goint to cover the concrete with plastic. Can't life them. And the storage shed is for tomorrow when juan is home. He is at work.
But I had a great day except for traffic. On our one lane dirt road, we see two cars daily. ONe is a neighbor and one is the mailman...hehe
