hi there every time i post pictures a few of them end up huge and ive done same on photobucket with them as i did with others but they still end up huge any1 any idea how i can resize my pics ?? thanks in advance

When you resize in photobucket you need to log out and log back in and click refresh on TCS if you posted it here before you resized.
If not just open them in paint or whatever imaging programme you have and resize and upload again

Try this freeware before uploading the photos to Photobucket: www.irfanview.com Just open the photo, go to "Edit", and then "Resize/Resample". Then use "Save as".
I just use the paint program that came with my pc. I can size them down, my dilemma was not knowing how small they had to be for TCS. So I open the picture I want in paint, then go to image, click on stretch/skew, adjust the % down a little bit at a time until the photo looks as if it would be the size of a 4x6 print, then save it (I always save it as whatever the pic is called with a B at the end, so I have it saved large & small) then I upload them to my photo bucket acct, then copy & paste the image code. And I am so NOT technologically inclined!!! It took me 2 mos to figure this out!
Heather, if you click Image>Attributes in MSPaint it will tell you exactly how big your pic is
Hmmm....I'm totally mystified. I still can't resize my pics either. On photobucket, I have been uploading the pic, clicking on it and edit, then trying to make it 25 percent of the original size. Then I logged out, as someone else suggested, came back to Photobucket, but I still find my pic to be the same size!
I tried to use the resize option on Irfan prior to posting on Photobucket too, but it's still not getting smaller.
Grrr...I'm getting frustrated. Any suggestions?

Hi- I notice you live in Honolulu. I'm in Waipio Gentry.
I used Irfranview also and it worked great for me. Are you sure you saved the pic under a new name before you uploaded to Photobucket? I haven't tried resizing in Photobucket so no thoughts there.
I hope you can solve the problem- would love to see pics of your kitties. Good luck.
