Come on Tahlee. Keep improving.

P.S. - does her name have any special meaning? I haven't heard it before.

Hi, nope, there is no special meaning behind it. I was sitting with her talking to her on the first or second day that I brought her home and 'Tahlee Tiger' just came out LOL. So go for my overactive imagination LOL......

Tahlee is a beautiful name that came from love.

Your sweet baby remains in my prayers.

Hopefully the specialist will take one look at Tahlee's test results and say, "why you silly people, this is what's wrong with her..." Good news on the "poopies".
Loads of (((healing vibes))) going out to your little lady.

Hi again all. Have just spoken to the vet hospital and they've told me that Tahlee can come home!

She will be on Anti-biotics for 5 days, and no doubt still need rest and a special diet of something! But the best thing is she can be here and I can look after her. I'm keeping my fingers really crossed that she will have a full recovery!

Thanks so much for all your support and loving wishes guys. It means a lot!

I am so sorry for what you and Tahlee have gone through. Thank goodness she wasn't with your other kits to expose them! I'm glad she is improving. Although it doesn't sound like the vet ever gave you a clear diagnosis, you should call the shelter back again.

Even though the person answering the phones was rude, for the sake of the other kitties, you should give them as much info as you can, in case any of their kitties are sick.

I sure hope Tahlee keeps improving. Poor little girl, she has been through a lot!

I actually went up there yesterday to try and talk to someone and was told that she had "obviously" gotten it from one of my other cats (interesting since they don't know what it is, my other cats aren't sick and they haven't seen any of them since it happened) and that it was no longer anything to do with them
So I am trying not to think about that, but to concentrate on getting Tahlee 100% better. I wish there was more I could do, but if they are refusing to do anything about it, there isn't much I can do

I just saw this and I'm so relieved Tahlee seems better. I'm sure that no matter what you did the shelter would have tried to turn it back on you. Not that I blame them that much - I'm sure they run on a shoestring. It's really sad about your vet, though. I thought one of our BEST experiences when Elsa was so sick was the caring vet staff. Thinking and praying for Tahlee!

Hey everyone. Big hugs to everyone for all the kind messages and support. I picked her up from the vet a couple of hours ago and she in now safely back in her room. The vet has given me a five day course of Trizine 120. They're little green tablets. She has also been put on a diet of the Hills Z/D for the rest of her life. I am going to speak to a different vet about the diet........Coz as some know, I've decided I'm not really too keen on the Hills foods. If anyone has any advice or an opinion on the Waltham foods, I'd be glad to hear it.

Hey guys, I thought I'd share some pics I took just a little while ago......

Here you can see her shaved neck (they took the blood test from there) and her shaved right leg from the drip.....

And here she is, having a bit of a rest in her basket.........it must have taken a bit out of her I'd say.....

Thanks everyone. Well, she wasn't 100% keen on the Z/D canned food, so I went and got some of the Z/D dry food and she's hoovered it down. So looks like her apetite is back with no problems!
She's also been drinking water, haven't seen her use the litter tray yet, but will check in the morning and see how she's gone.
