I have a problem with swelling in one foot.
I was advised to find a diruetic to help.
I decided to go the natural route and use a diruetc tea.

Well, it is working, I've had minimal to no swelling since I started my morning and even tea.

But man
this stuff is awful.
I was asked by Jeremy how bad it was, the only description I could offer was that it tastes like sweetened dirt, with cloves.

What less than savory things have you tasted, and how would you descibe the flavor?

Yuck! Nothing in particular in coming to mind, but your description is enough to make me never try that tea, lol!

Tuna. Yuck. Even the smell of it is horrid! DD loves tuna, and one day she was going on and on about how delicious it is, so I tasted it-blech!

I would like to know what tea you are using as a diuretic. I am supposed to be on a low sodium diet for my blood pressure, but sometimes I overdo it, and swell up. A sip of dirt-clove tea might help me, too. Can't be as bad as tuna, can it? (But don't you wish you could put it in a capsule and swallow it without tasting the tea?!?)

Um, green peppers. I honestly have no idea why anybody would willingly eat green peppers. It tastes like... torture. Or actually vomit when you're hungover and try to eat a big breakfast. Even the smell makes me gag.
I don't know what it is, I know some people who just think green peppers taste sort of sweet, but not like anything at all. To me they have a very very strong taste and it is the most unpleasant one on earth.

I can only eat them raw. If they're cooked,

Well the brand is Yogi Tea (they're all organic) and it's their Detox tea.
If you cannot find it locally, look for any herbal tea with dandelion root as that is the diuretic ingredient.

for me it is cough surup

Ladies for those needing a dieretic try this ( it is low cal low sodium tastes great and is all natural and you likely have some on hand all the time)

2 tablespoons lemon juice to 6-8 ounces h2o and sweeten to taste

Under a stack of blueberry waffles.
Aloe leaves. My grandma would give them to me as a child to induce vomiting (she'd peel them, and on top of tasting horrible, they had a slimy, snot-like texture), and every time after the first time, she'd literally have to chase me and hold me down to get them into my mouth.

She had an odd obsession with "purging", and would also dump two heaping tablespoons of epsom salts into our (my cousins' and mine) hot chocolate at least once a week because she thought it kept us regular. That would be a close 2nd on the "worst flavor" list: epsom-heavy hot chocolate.

Buckley's cough syrup, or any kind of cough syrup. Cheddar cheese is pretty nasty too. I despise dark chocolate, yet I'll still eat it. I am so weird.
