My previous foster Natalie has been spayed, but is still acting very crazy. Here is my thread about her.
http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86850

Here she is with 2 of her 6 kittens.

The original owner had said she wanted Natalie back, but now we cannot get in touch with her. If Natalie does not calm down soon, she will be euthanized. While I understand that this may be the only choice, as our foster homes are a limited resource, I cannot forget my first 15 minutes with her as we rode home. She acted loving towards me. If there is any chance of that Natalie returning, I pray it happens soon.

She is no longer with me. The current foster Mom uses a board to go near her, and Natalie jumped on the board, holding her ears back. She is especially scary, because unlike a feral who tries to stay away from you, she seems unafraid to attack people.

Please pray for Natalie, that she will stop being so viscious. Thank you!

How long ago was she spayed??? When Bobber was spayed last fall we had tumors on her ovaries the size of grapes. She was I real clingy, crybaby cat for a good 6-8 weeks after she spay. This was definately not her normal behavior!!
She did come back to her old self thank goodness-maybe Natalie will do the same???

Poor Natalie - she's experienced so much upheaval in her life recently. I really hope you manage to contact her former owner, or that she calms down quickly.

I'm not sure of the exact date. But our vet is usually very good about letting us know of any issues, so I think he would have picked up tumors or cysts. And he was aware of her behavior issues.

She is no longer in my home, so my options for behavioral interventions are limited. In my mind, either she was always nasty, and I just got lucky for a few minutes when I first met her, or something about the change of home "switched" something in her, causing her to change. Almost like a person with panic disorder having their first panic attack.

I won't bring her here again, for 2 reasons. First, the safety of my kids. And second, she began to growl the moment we crossed the threshold, so there is something about my house that she doesn't like. Whether the smell of multiple foster cats, or my dog, of just the noisiness. But Natalie is with a good, experienced foster owner, in a room by herself. I will try to follow up with the new foster Mom directly, so I can get more info.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers. I know TCS has made some miracles happen before, so I am hopeful that Natalie can be helped, too.

That is one weird cat. We did have one cat that attacked me & several others at the HS. She was protecting her kittens. Is Natalie still around her kittens?

Hopefully, her owner can be contacted. If she seemed to be a sweet cat, IMO, the stress sent her overboard.

I do hope she settles down. Are her kittens still with her?

Thank you so very much, GooseHazel, CatLover, Trouts Mom, Eileen, Miss Mew, Fran, KatieMae, LuckyGirl, Gail, CoolCat, JCat, Butterfly, WhiteCatLover, BookTigger, and DawnofSierra! I just got the news, Natalie will be going back to her original owner!

I was almost in tears when I got the news! What an answer to prayer. Natalie was spayed, and separated from her kittens, and in a room alone. She was just bonkers! The best thing for her is to go home to her family of origin, with a 12 y/o girl who adores her.

Natalie is such a pretty little girl, with an endearing quality aside from her attacks. I am so appreciative of everyones help. TCS does it again!

THANK YOU!
