We have a calico momma cat that had just given birth to a new litter, then she dissapeared.(sad)
Two days later, two identicle stray cats, both male, both blue eyed, and both solid white, appear on our porch. Being the natural cat lover I feed them and water them, worm them and flea them, etc. That was a week ago, they are both great cats but I can't figure out where they came from, are they brothers, are they 2 strays that just found each other or what. They never get far appart and they take turns eating, even though I put 2 bowls out for them. It just seems kind of odd to me. What do you think?

You mean they are whole unneutered?

Even whole can be friends, especielly if brothers or raised together.

If they dumped (from dump) - this would explain.

How is it going with the small ones?

There's no place like home
Blue eyed deaf cats have a higher risk of being deaf. You may want to get them to a vet and have them checked out. Deaf cats shouldn't be left outside!

By their behavior it sure sounds like they are related. While unrelated males can live in peace, add the outside factor and it is more difficult for them to be that close with each other. Related males are typically pretty good buddies with each other.

How are the kittens?

They could be strays that were drawn to your home by your intact female. If they stick around...I would take them in to be neutered.

Sorry, but this sentece struck me as funny. I know what you meant, but had to ask - don't ALL deaf cats have a higher risk of being deaf?
Again, sorry, just had to say something on that one, LOL!!!

I agree with the others, I think you should take them in to be neutered at the very least.

I noticed that too and got a chuckle out of it.

You didn't mention if they were already neutered or not. If you aren't able to take them in yourself, perhaps you could find a no-kill shelter where they would be safer and have the opportunity to be adopted.

I am pretty sure she meant all WHITE cat cats have a higher risk of being deaf.

I knew what she meant, but thank you so much for pointing that out to me...just in case anyone else didn't understand it.
