This can be moved to the right spot...

I am thinking of buying this camera:
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...00000000005702

Does anyone have it?

What cameras do you have? Are they good at capturing kitty action shots?

I like the stabilization feature on this one. Good for close-ups, I hear.

Post a pic you got with your camera, too... so I can see a "real life" example.

Come on folks, I know you're out there....
I am going out tonight (or maybe tomorrow).

You don't HAVE to post a pic, just tell me what you like or don't like about your camara, and where you got it, and how much.

Hi there! I don't have THAT camera, but if your mind is still open, you should think about the Kodak Easyshare C330, or one of the other Easyshares! The reason why I am talking about these ones is b/c I have the Kodak ES C330, and I LOVE IT!!! I can put a couple of pictures below for you!

I have a Sony CyberShot, myself, but looking at the specs of the camera you linked, it looks pretty decent. The 10x optical zoom is good - if it listed digital zoom, you'd want to stay away. The 5 megapixel provides a resolution that's typically sufficient for printing 8x10s. I think it looks fine!

Awl! Cute doggie!

I'm having a hard time finding Panasonics in the stores....
So I might think about another brand. Does it have a stability control feature?

P.S.-The Easyshare C340 has 5MPs, too!
Oh, it has a special setting for fast shots, but I don't think that it has that stability setting, though...

Panasonics aren't exactly on the list of best cameras to professionals, but I found the combination of features on this camera to best suit my needs... I just hope I can find it in a store! This model isn't even on eBay... but the next one up is, and for the same price (a $550 camera for $200-300!)... I may do that one. Here is it: What do you think?

Oh yeah, and post pics with yours!

That camera looks even better! I recognise a number of features there.

Here are some pictures I took with mine:

Where did you get an orange kitty with blue eyes? I've always wanted one.. I'm jealous!

My husband is going to see if he can find the first one after work, if he doesn't find it, we'll get the one off eBay. But I'm still interested to see what others have...

That one on Ebay looks REALLY nice!
Hope that you find the camera that you are looking for!
Once you get one, you HAVE to show us pictures of your cats!
have you had a digital camera before?

None of my oranges have had blue eyes, alas. Polly's got slightly golden eyes, Mimi's are olive-colored, and Muffin's are a brighter green. The boy in my first picture was a Siamese/Persian cross, mostly white with flame points. Passed away in 2004. Gorgeous cat, but definitely not orange.

Yep. It's an old one... a Canon Powershot A40... it's five years old and finally broke on us a month or so ago.

Sneakers is preggers, and her due date is coming fast, so we decided we needed a new camera NOW.
Can't miss out on getting pics of her preggers and her babies!

There's one pic in pregnant cats. I posted the new pics I've taken in the past hour in the Cat Lounge: Fur Pictures.

This camera has so many features that I will never use.. it's really nice! Bulky, but nice. It's about as close to an SLR that one can get without spending $800. I'm happy with it so far! It has 12X optical zoom, too. Great for kitty close ups.

Looks like I am to late on my recommendation.....but....I have the Panasonic FZ-30 which is the latest model up from the FZ-20. I also have an older Sony 707 which someone else mentioned. We just got the FZ-30 a few months ago and it is one heckuva camera. I have posted several pictures on here, some taken with the older Sony and some with the new Panasonic. I really researched the camera's before buying one this year and for the money and the ability to do MANY things with a camera.....the FZ-30 won.....hands down. Do a search on posts by me and you will find plenty of pictures.
