Good morning everyone!

I had so many wonderful plans yesterday of going outside and enjoying the beautiful weather but then I started to feel a little bit sick.

I've gotten a nasty tummy virus

it hasn't been a good 24 hours..I slept off and on for 16 hours.

I plan on trying to eat some chicken soup for lunch and see how that goes.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a better Monday than I am!

Ew, I hope your feeling better soon Miss Mew!! It sucks to be sick, especially when it's nice out.

It is hot here today, and that's about it. I am leaving work at 4pm today and going to the gym

I like leaving early...it's sweeeeet. Especially with the beautiful weather outside.

I hope everyone else has weather like we have, It is gorgeous out today

I don't know about London Ontario, but London UK has just had this



the white is hail stones. I took this about an hour ago.I live about 20 miles out of London. Please could you send some sun.

I think I'd take hailstones (for a little while at least) over the hazy, ash filled days we've been getting...the weather's been awfully depressing, thanks to the very active volcano over the sea...

This has not been the greatest of days! This morning the TTC (our transit system) workers staged a wildcat strike!

Which means no buses, streetcars or subways...the city is a mess!

I was two hours late for work this morning but I should be glad I even got in...a co-worker picked me up on his way in. Traffic is INSANE here! We don't know how long the strike will last, they labour board already gave the workers a cease and dissist (sp?) basically ordering them back to work...they've ignored it so far. *sigh*...This is not a good way to start a work week.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the workers will be forced back, if not by this afternoon then at least by tomorrow morning. I know they feel they are justified in striking but it shouldn't be at the expense of the 700,000 plus people that rely on the TTC each day to get where they need to go.

Its really HOT again with the humidity too. In the upper 80's F!!
Finished the containers for a client, delivered and got paid right away!!
Picked up some annuals for my containers and for another client.
Just grilling out stuff for supper know and will park myself in front of a fan!!
Lots of planting again tomorrow-hot once again so I will try to start even earlier than 7 am!!

It's beautiful here, sunny and hot. There were a few too many Memorial Day vacationers for our taste, so my girlies and I stayed in for a nice relaxing day of catching up on some reading and Lost.

John & I got home this afternoon from my parents - we spent the weekend there - and I've been cleaning up the apartment and doing some laundry - we ran into some NASTY thunderstorms on the drive back home, which was not fun to drive into!

Otherwise, the weather is beautiful and 80* - summer is here!

Well we are supposed to have record heat today. 96 degrees!! Yikes!! I had a great weekend. We didn't do a whole lot. Saturday we went fishing. I caught 2 channel catfish, Lee caught one channel cat, and our friends caught one channel cat and a small bass. Other than that we didn't do much of anything! I am very well rested today though!!
