Ginger usually tries to catch the treats I toss her.

She won't come to me for one, instead she sits back and watches me, and meows at me to toss them for her. Then when I do, she'll jump and catch it between her two front paws then stuff the treat in her mouth!

This morning she jumped up and caught a treat with her mouth - look ma, no paws!!!

I taught our Rainbow Bridge cat, Max, to play Hide and Seek. He was the smartest cat I have ever seen.

Pixel fetches 'cat' style - she only bring the item partly back, then expects me to get up & get it to throw again. our games don't last too long, for obvious reasons!

Anna loves to play "pencil". Several times a day,I have to balance a pencil, unsharpened of course,on my knee. She hunkers down, then grabs is between her front paws, holding it there whle sitting straight up for a minute or two. She then falls over to gve it a good rabbit kicking until it flys across the room. Then,we have to do it again!! It's her favorite thing to do. She is such a sweetheart!!

I should change Trouts name to "Weirdo"

She loves to play fetch, she would do it all day if she could. First thing in the morning if I'm on the potty, she will bring her ball in for me to throw..and since I'm a trained momma, I throw it no matter what I'm doing

She loves to try to attack the little stick that comes off the blinds for adjusting them. She jumps over 6 feet in the air at it!

She uses the drawers on our armoire to climb to the very top and knock things off of it.

She hides in behind the drawers and then mommy tries to close them and can't because of the furry creature behind there. (This morning, there was evidence that Trout was in the bedroom overnight because every single drawer was pushed all the way open

OMG! Charlotte fetches and "returns" the toy in the same way as Pixel! Charlotte brings me her toy (an old hair scrunci), I toss it, she runs after it, and drops it about 5 feet away from me. I think it's Charlotte's way of making me exercise despite the fact I actually do exercise!

Connor would play fetch/catch but lately it is more "you meet me half way". He is the only one who does this. Princess likes to play "papers" with mom. Mom has to rip a sheet into tiny pieces and flick them on the floor.

Molly helps make the bed. Her favorite part is tucking in the corners. She also supervises when we bring the clean clothes back up.

My rainbowbridge kitty, Mittens liked dirty underwear and clean white socks.
He also liked real candy canes.

Gus(rainbowbridge kitty) used to watch my bike from the front door when I would come inside. If someone got too close to it he would cry loudly. He also liked to take the decals from the tub and hide them in the couch.

Neo loves to jump for his catnip mice. I have pictures of him well above my dining room table trying to grab the mice that I throw. Unfortunately he won't bring them to me but will sit and wait for me to throw more.

Rogue fetches milkrings. She comes running if I get the milk out or a gallon of bottled water since she assumes everytime I have a ring for her. She will fetch forever or even worse if she misses where it lands she will sit and meow until I pick it up again. I have tried pointing but she assumes I have the finger out for her to rub on.

Ugly, my calico is a straw thief. The first time it happened I assumed either the cats or I had knocked over my to go cup. Then when I picked it up I noticed the straw was missing and heard a scraping of plastic as she ran down the hall dragging it along the wall. Now I have to watch so that she doesn't try to steal it before I am done. I end up giving it to her and sometimes I can get her to play fetch with it but she tires of it quickly.

Tiger doesn't do this anymore because we have dimmers instead of light switches, but in my old apartment he turned on and off light switches. He notices every little thing. One day he discovered the light switch. He just sat under it and made a funny meowing sound. Then he just jumped up and turned off the light. Then he would turn it on again. He liked to do this when he was really hyper. It was soo funny!! Once I discovered him on top of an open door just chilling. He was making a big fuss for me to come see what he did but I couldn't find him. I looked up and there he was!

My дебел has often endeavoured to turn on the television whilst I sleep, and has thus awakened me to feed him. At other times, he takes whatever i am working on and hides it, that I might pet him more.

My Maine Coon girl loves to play hide and seek. If I chase her, she will run and open kitchen cabinets and hide inside. When I walk away and hide, she comes out and finds me. She loves to open kitchen drawers and cabinets. I have had to put locks on some of them.

She also learned how to slide open the sliding shower doors we have in a bathroom. She loves to hide inside and have us close the doors behind her. Shes out in about 30 seconds and no doubt feeling very smug.

Viola loves to play fetch with milk rings or twist ties- she also opens the folding door to my washer dryer closet. I had to put a baby proof thing on it. Natasha plays with foam rubber balls- carries them around like kittens and meows, I have to put them away before I go to sleep.

And I thought my Boomie was special because he fetched. Looks like there are a lot of cat-dogs out there.

LOL, they are all so smart - why is it that they ignore us or pretend not to understand when we are pointing at/to something? I touch Ginger's nose with the tip of my finger and say, look, follow my finger...see? It's right over there! Go get it!" Then she just sits there and looks at me, like, "What???"
