They just called - NO MORE SURGURY!

The DR. said that his heart is in excellent condition - and the stints they had put in a few years ago are in perfect condition.

They thought that last night they would have to do a bypass, because he is diabetic and sometimes that causes the arteries to clog up pretty bad.

BUT, the shortness of breath is caused by his high blood pressure, so they are giving him meds for that.

Thank you to you all from around the world for your prayers, I am crying just typing this up, I am so happy that everything is okay.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner...hugs to you and your family as you go through this. And prayers your Grandpa recovers from the angioplasty quickly, and they find the right bp med for him quickly!

He's doing wonderfully tonight, I am so glad that everything has gone smooth - these TCS vibes sure do work wonders

I just now saw this, I'm very glad things are ok! I know a bit how you were feeling. The Grandpa of mine that everyone prayed for last week has had a few heart attacks and a bypass and what not. I'm not quite as close to him as my other Grandpa, but still close! I believe I went home from the hospital to their house for a few weeks till my parent's moved. (My lucky Mom! Brand new mommy with a brand new baby, and MIL watching her every move! ) We lived with my other Grandparents after they separated. I'm glad you can be so close to your Grandparents!

I just saw this, too. I'm glad everything went OK Mackenzie. I know how much being diabetic can complicate things. It's awful to think what that does to people.

Hope your grandpa heals well & gets better soon!

He is doing SUPER!

He is feeling great, and the BP meds they gave him are helping a lot, I'm so glad and relieved that everything turned out okay - that was the best birthday present I could have ever asked for!
