i'm protective of my little furbabies too, you're a great mom to Sierra! I hope everything goes well with her kidney levels and test results. Best of luck!!!

You guys are so wonderful! Thank you so very much for all of your prayers and encouragement! Sierra's Dr. visits are always quite a huge event for us, and it's such comfort to have your support!
Yes, we will be seeing my girls' Dr. with whom we've developed a trusting relationship. it's so important to have a Dr. who truly cares about my girlies and appreciates that they are my children, my world.
Since Sierra's most recent labs, she's been taking her new Phosphate Binder, so I'm especially looking forward to knowing how this has influenced her BUN and Creatinine. I'm so hoping this addition has really improved her levels! Also, I'm hoping her Potassium supplement has put her level back within normal range. Since keeping her kidneys in check, her BP med has been effective at its current dose, so I'm planning that this will still be the case. It would be so nice to even be able to decrease it a bit. I haven't decided yet whether or not to have her thyroid level checked, too, since it was so great last time, and will get her Dr's feedback on this. Something I especially want to mention to her Dr...Sierra sleeps by my ear, and lately, she's been snoring at times. This isn't particularly concerning, but since it's a new symptom, it's important to be sure.
Sierra will be having a late night snack in just a bit since she'll be skipping her breakfast in the morning. Her carrier is nice and comfy and ready for the trip, but I haven't told her about her appt yet. Otherwise, my clever little girl pulls quite an impressive vanishing act right about when it's time to leave!

We're packed up and ready for our little trip to the Dr. Sierra is being a sweet girl cooperating nicely. Poor Serenity is all confused. Both are wondering what happened to their breakfast.
