It depends on where you have your cat fixed. Vets tend to be more costly than nonprofits. Look around your area, like in yellow pages or do a google search.

Hello. Welcome! Where do you live? We might be able to help you find a clinic near you. It can cost anywhere from $10 at a low cost/non-profit clinic to $200 at a regular vet. Some vets charge more then others. I heard that places like LA area charge a ton. Depends on where you live and everything.

IF you're looking to get a cat, try the human society or a shelter. Usually they already have the pets spayed or neutered and it can cost $75-150 for the total adoption fee. This is a GOOD price since it includes most of their shots for the first year.

Usually it includes a lot of other things too if you go to a good shelter.
It can include, the spay or neuter, shots, flea meds, worming, tests...

I paid $75 to have my cat spayed last year. I did call another vet and they charged $115 so I decided to stick with my own vet.
