Thank you so much! She's my 'baby girl'.

I'm worried but only because neither I nor Kassie has gone through this before. But this site has so much valuable information and everyone here is so friendly and helpful it puts me at ease.

No kittens through the night. I kept her in the room last night just in case they decided to come. This morning she was waiting for me to let her out so she could come downstairs with me. She does not appear to be having any contractions. I'm guessing that her body is preparing. Her perineum(I think that's the word for it) is starting to get pretty wet.

I just got off the phone with the vet and they said it is not uncommon to lose the plug and not go into labor right away and because of the way I described her acting...fairly normal at this point...to give her a couple more days to have them. UNLESS, she seems to be having problems, or something just does not seem right with her; not to worry.

I'd like to know if she is waiting for my daughter to deliver or my daughter is waiting for her to deliver, but one of them better make me a grandma pretty dang soon!!!

LOL well I took pictures this morning of my pregnant cat if you would like to see them. I can post them in a little bit when I get done with my cleaning.

I just got off the phone with an emergency vet. I had to ask them about my baby.
I was not prepared with everything that I've been reading for how the whole labor process works. It sure gave me a scare!
When I put my daughter to bed tonite, Kassie had gotten up and under her bed so when I got her out of there I decided it was time to put her back into the room that I'd made for her. I figured if she was laying under my daughter's bed that she might be getting close. Anyways, after I had put her back into her room I'd went downstairs for awhile and went back uo to check on her because my daughter said that Kassie had woke her up with her noise. I got all excited thinking she was giving birth. When I got up there she was laying under the bed and there was watery with blood in it in a few spots. Well, needless to say I about freaked! Then she started coming out from under the bed and starting scooting her but across the floor to wipe it off since her belly is in the way of her cleaning herself! Very light carpet...not a pretty site! So, I move everything into the bathroom upstairs! She'll have to stay in there til babies come now, since she can't clean herself...poor thing. So, I called the vet to be sure everything is normal and find out what I need to be watching for and she told me to wait it out til morning to see if she delivers through the night and that it sounded like she would. If she seems to be having trouble through the night then to call them back and I can bring her in. If she does ok but has not had them in the morning then to call my vet and take her in. So, it will be a watchful, worrying night for me!
I don't know if I should be in the bathroom with her for a bit here and there or to just peek in on her every once in awhile so she will have her privacy??? When she was in the bedroom, she'd be ok for awhile but then sometimes she'd want to come out with me, so I don't know what I should do.
I'll be sure to update when I can!

Poor baby does not like the bathroom at all! She keeps going to the door for me to let her out. I'm gonna give her some more privacy for a lil bit and see if it helps.
Watch me pull an all-nighter with her then my daughter go in tomorrow night!
Well, actually tonite seeing how it is already tomorrow! LMAO
