Help! Kitty in HVAC Duct!

Last night I brought in a teen kitty I have been feeding for a couple of months. I set her up in a room with food, water, litterbox, bed and toys. I had no idea I needed to cover the vent. Somehow the kitty removed the cover and went down into the duct work during the night. What should I do now?

I almost had a similar situation last night.
Have you tried calling her, talking softly, don't sound frantic or she'll be frightened.
Rattle a tin of cat treats, or put a bowl of strong smelling meat by the vent.
I really hope she comes out I'll be checking the thread for updates.

I am glad you got her out too. I was worried.

I had a cat do that twice many years ago. It took forever to coax her out. I'm glad kitty is safe and sound.
