I miss my Grandparents. They live 6-7 hrs from here.

I miss having spending money! Paying bills just doesn't count as fun spending! Although I do enjoy having a home of my own and what not!

I miss having weekends. I work all weekend long (12 hrs each day). I miss love sometimes, and sometimes I don't. I miss not being so stressed out.

This one was the 3rd spider i have ever seen in Germany!

Is there anything you miss having? It doesnt have to be an animal
There are plenty of spiders in Germany - I think you're not seeing them because you have indoor cats now, and they're very conscientious about doing "spider control". Spiders are apparently absolutely delicious.
This is going to sound weird, but I miss a lot of vegetables that Germans just don't seem to eat much. Robert is planning/planting his garden and greenhouse right now, and I've put in an "order" for corn on the cob, turnips, and Lima beans. Previous "orders" have been for cranberries (which the neighborhood cats and birds eat), and celery (now available in supermarkets here). My in-laws go to Hungary several times a year, and bring back pumpkins, cornmeal, and tartar sauce for me every time they visit there,

I miss working six days a week, 12 hours a day, away from home in a career I hated.

I'm sort of in the same boat too. I just haven't moved away!
My friends are spread all over the country - good for when I go on vacation as I have a free place to stay, but bad the rest of the time!

Can I come girly shopping too? I haven't done that in YEARS and totally miss doing retarded stuff like going in and trying on fancy dresses with other girls!

I go out all the time, and it's getting old. What I miss is staying home with someone for a weekend of movies, cuddling, napping, reading, just being together. Waking up in the morning and making breakfast together or for each other, going for a Sunday drive to the lake, going fishing, going for coffee, anything together with a S/O....I miss being in love.

I think we are going to have to have virtual girly shopping!!! Mackenzie will give us her personal tour of VS!!!!
I really miss sitting in front of a computer in an office all day vs playing in the soil and spending other peoples money on plants!!! (NOT)
I do miss the chance to wear more varied outfits like the ones gathering dust in my closet!!!

Its also because i live right in the middle of Frankfurt i have all the high buildings around me and barely any nature! I couldnt believe my eyes on the way down to stuttgart how much green there actually is in Germany!

Yes when i moved here 4 years ago I could not find celery anywhere! I prefer going to Lidl to get my mangoes and avocados and plums instead of the Tengelmann because they are more expensive and their quality is just POO!
I also miss the big variety of potatoes, and pumpkins!
Ohh i love tartar sauce I also miss having fish and chips stores

I miss australian and english food...
meat pies, sausage rolls hmmm...... :drools:

I feel so deprived here!
