Usually a week or two.

I'm so happy to hear everything's going well though!

Well.. The biggest time lapse inbetween kitties for the litter my Sweetie had was I think an hour and 1/2, and I'm no expert so I don't know if that's normal (but the kittens were fine), so- the kitties may not be done yet.

I don't think the mommy should mind if you stay close to her. Both my cats appreciated it. I guess every cat is different, but if you think she needs you, make sure you stay close by!

I ran out and got her some kmr and she was very happy. They all were all snuggled up and sleeping when I got back. Ethel seems to be adjusting very well to motherhood and they have latched on.

Now I am waiting for the boys to come home any minute!!!!!

The KMR is for the kitts right. Since they are latching on they hopefully will be getting enough from mom to make it.

Actually, Momma cats may enjoy a little warm KMR or goat's milk after delivery. *smile* And of course, it is always good to have some on hand as you never know when you might need it! Even adult cats who aren't eating as they should may take a little warmed KMR or goat's milk. I love it for when my kitties must be on antibiotics as it helps to keep the bacteria in the gut a little more balanced.

Yep, it was for Momma. When I out the bowl next her head she was so happy! She hasn't wanted any food yet but it is all there when she wants it.

I have to go to work and am going to leave before my husband gets home and I really wanted to be with him when he saw them!

I walked in a few minutes ago and they were lined up nursing and Ethel had her eyes closed and was purring. I got all teary-eyed! Only you guys understand how I feel! Everyone else thinks I'm nuts!

Oh, I missed it all, but congratulations to you and Ethel on a job well done!
I don't feed it to them a lot, but I gave my girl some deli turkey after she delivered. She was SOOOO happy. Sounds like the little orangey one is a boy. What is marble? Gray or Brown Tabby? Or Black & White?

Pictures mandatory!

I'll bet you saw something like this when she was nursing. It's enough to just make you want to well up, huh?

Again - good job!

#1 was a boy and was orange and white. #2 was (I all it marble for whatever reason) was black, orange, and white and a female. #3 was a girl and she was what I call faded marble and my husband calls her silver. The last one was black and white and a boy.

The boys have named them which makes me a bit nervous because our plan is not to keep any of them. I think when we are done my plan is to maybe foster pregnant ones but to make a 20 year commitment to a 3rd cat might be too much for me. HOWEVER, no one will leave this house until they have the perfect home to go to! ( I would have a bunch of cats if I could but with the 2 dogs and 2 boys I am at my limit!)

The 'marble' sounds like she's a calico
, or a tortishell, if all of the colours are blended. They sound like very beautiful kittens! Do you have any pictures, yet?
