I'm sure you know what TS Elliot said about a cat's 3 names. One we'll never know, of course, and I enjoyed reading about how you came by their given names in the other thread.

I'd love to hear their nicknames, and how they came about.

Rocky is Jelly Belly because he loves to have his belly rubbed so much that all you have to do is say "Jelly Belly" and he'll roll over and spread his legs, and you are required to rub his belly while saying Jelly Belly over and over. He will often just roll over and spread his legs to initiate his belly rub.

Deja Vu, having the honor of being Rocky's Mom, who also likes her belly rubbed is "mummy tummy" for obvious reasons.

I'm 52 years old and go around tickling cat bellies and calling them "Jelly Belly" and "Mummy Tummy." LOL

Most of the time its either Marlee or Boo. No idea where that came from! Sometimes I'll call her Baby Bear or Baby Girl. Baby girl is easy enough, but again, I have no idea where Baby bear came from

I call my cat Yen, Yenny. She just listens better when I do that. I call her kittens Kitten A and Kitten B because I don't know what to know what to name them and because there was this kids show a few years back about bananas and they were b1 and b2(banana 1 and banana 2)

Elsa is called "Chunky Monkey" because she was near-death at about 5 pounds in June, and by October she weighed 10 pounds!

Tigger is called "Tiglet" for "Piglet" because she eats, and eats, and eats.

Nadette is "Itsy" since she's the smallest and youngest of the kitties, so she's "Itsy-Bitsy".

Smudgie was "Smoochy". He was the sweetest ever!

Jazmin gets called Twinkle by me, its to do with the way she walks, and the 'round one' by Pete.
