She loves anything that moves on the monitor. She chases sentences as i type them. She attacks the mouse pointer. Games/movies/webpage adds, they all get attacked as well. But she seems especially fond of the fish screensaver!

I really wish I could see things through the eyes of a cat for a little while. It would probably explain why they like to get up real close to the monitor, as well as other similar situations.

Anyone have any good links for info detailing exactly how/what a cat 'sees'?

Suggests that cats may be near sighted, perhaps that explains getting right up next to the monitor, or perhaps 3d on a screen is good enough to fool their depth perception? Interesting stuff...

She is a doll! So full of purrsonality. I think Casper would love to have that screensaver on his computer too.

Lucky for me, my cats aren't too interested in the computer. I have caught them watching TV though. They like NASCAR races, and they seem entranced by commercials . It's really funny to see their reaction when they hear the animals on TV, especially if it is another cat.

It can get a bit difficult at times. When shes not being silly, shes sitting right in front of the monitor, and I can only imagine as she gets bigger, its not going to be so easy to see around her. So for now, we test each others stubbornness. She sits down in front of the screen, i move her to the other side of the desk. She runs back to in front of the screen, i move her back to the other side of the desk. This usually goes on for hours :laughing:

Shiraz's favorite tv show is the show our local humane society puts on the public access channel now and then. Lots of barking and meowing!
