Hello again, I am very sorry for the absence..... my internet was down for a while. Anyways Peepants had her kittens about 3 weeks ago. YAY!!! She had 4 of them, 3 tuxedo like cats and one that was tuxedoish but with stripes on the black parts^_^ I convenced my boyfriend to let me keep the stripey one, I call her PooPeePants LOL!! I thought it was fitting^_^ I figure that I should start putting a small litterbox in with them but how do I know when there ready? And when do i start trying to give them food? I am aware I'll have to wet it down or get wet kitten food.

Anyways, you guys are all very supportive and I feel very bad that I coulden't tell you guys as soon as she had her babies but there was nothing I could do. I took some pictures and I will post them but I gotta get a picture disk.
Talk to ya soon!!

When I fostered a mom and her kittens....I used to feed the mom both dry and wet kitten food....when the kittens were ready..they would eat out of their mom's bowl. I also had 2 litterboxes....1 was for mom and 1 (it was usually just a box top with some litter in it) was for the kittens. When it was time, the kittens started using the box top.

Also....now is a good time to schedule Peepants spay for when the kittens are between 6 to 8 weeks of age. Also, she needs to remain indoors only and away from intact males until she has been spayed. If you need a low cost spay clinic, there is a list in the link below:

I have been feeding Peepants wet and dry kitten food, but she usually comes out of the box to eat which the kittens can't get out of yet. I am trying to find something bigger to put them in. I am very happy to say that I really don't have any trouble keeping my cats indoors. The way the pregnancy happened was a VERY rediculos situation.

I was living with some of my friends and altogther we had 3 cats, well 2 cats and one kitten. They were all female and not spayed, two of them were mine.
Another one of my friends came over one day with a cat ( I was not home at the time this happened) he said "my girlfriend hates this cat, she said she likes fluffy cats so I can't keep this one."
So one of my friends that was there (underage and under the influence) says "ohhh its soooo cute I take HIM (she however did not live with us). Well she takes HIM to mom's at the end of the night. Well mom said no because there were already 3 cats at her house, so our little friend brings the cat we affectionaly came to call "Balls" back over ( I was also not home this time I worked about 55 hours a week at this time). Because thats what you do right? I mean come on if mom says no just bring him back to a house that has 3 unspayed cats (hers were all fixed) and unassume responsibilty for him. You know leave him to your friends to take care fo and not help in any way... like any normal person
Needless to say that this girl is on my blacklist for etirnity. But poor unwanted balls ended up with us. Nobody had the money to get Balls fixed at the moment (we were working on getting a spay/neuter certificate) and were all trying to throw in our spare mone to do this, well everyone execpt Kayla (the girl who abandoned him but would still come over and say he was hers) And it was terribly hard to keep the cats apart when Kayla's dumb a** kept letting him out when noone was there saying "oh you can't keep him locked upstairs all the time he wants to play with the other kitties"
Well one of the girls I lived with and myself got sick of her antics. Julie decided that she would keep Balls but we still needed to get him fixed, (our bills were piling up and we were having a bit of money trouble at this time) well Julie and myself confronted Kayla and told her, Look Balls is not yours, you abandoned him, left him with us and have not helped in the Remove Balls's Balls fund (we had a can in which our friends and ourselves would put money in to try and get our certificate) or bought any food, or anything. And now your adding to the problem even more by letting him out of the upstairs. She told us we were creul
Balls had the entire upstairs to himself, his own litterbox, food, water, toys, ect. All our cats our spoiled rotten why would we treat him any differently? HE just had to be separated til we got him fixed. Well long story (sorry) ends with miracoulesly only Peepants getting pregnant. But still it could have been prevented by Kayla actually thinking about anything that she was doing. I'm not saying that I'm not taking responsibility for what happened, my other friends and I tried taking precautions, but alas it still happened. Balls is very loved though and I recently mooved into my g-mas basement with my boyfriend and my 2 cats. But Balls and Mittens are living very happily in a Kayla free house. I really dont know why that guys girlfriend didnt want Balls, he is soooo sweet, he likes to cuddle and suck on your hair ^_^. But anyways sorry about the long story but it did feel good to tell it even though its sad. Every time I think about what she did it makes me want to beat her face in and cry all at once.
But at least it turned out good, Balls is healthy though separated from Peepants and the kittens, and is now neutered
I am working on getting my two cats spayed even though they don't go outside or there is no male cat around. I would just feel better if I did. I was a little worried about this though..... They both know what ummmm well sex is now (thank god battly didn't get knocked up I'm soooooo lucky) and I didn't want them to be like weireded out or to be confused, is there any problems with this? I mean will they be unhappy? It may seem like a stupid queston but I felt better asking anyways.

Well since it will take you guys hours to read this already Ill stop ^_^ sorry!
And thanks for the link I will check them out!! Hopefully I can find one around me.

No they will not be unhappy being spayed after they already figured out what sex is as you put it. It is healthier for them to be spayed anyways. It greatly reduces the risks of getting various cancers when they are older. They might be a little freaked out on the way to the vet or when they get back but it is all for the better.
