Since I've already snuck in and asked a question in the Behavior forum, I thought I should do the sociable thing and introduce myself!
I'm 22, female and a student (studying to be a teacher). I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada, on the lovely west coast. I live with my boyfriend and our 3 year old girl-kitty, Tak. Tak is a mutt-cat (as someone so nicely put it before me!), with what they told us was "medium" hair (actually really long!) and what everyone refers to as a "racoon tail". That's my pretty girl down at the bottom.
I've had a cat in my life as far back as I can remember. It is always a delight how much their personalities vary!
My first kitty was named Snowball, and she was a Japanese Bobtail. I had her when I was about 7 years old, and she was the most patient cat a kid could ever want. She only scratched me once, and she felt so bad about it that she didn't leave me alone for days. She was a barn cat and a great hunter! Too bad cats don't live as long as we would hope!
Thanks for the warm welcome I've gotten already! I'll see you around!
