Awwww what a cutie. It looks like he's already made himself quite comfortable! Good luck with the roundworms. Big fat kitty bellies are cute, but not when they're full of parasites! Yuck.

What about playing around with the number three...like you said, three's a charm. So how about:

Trio
or
Trey

What a "GOOD LOOKING FELLA"!
I LOVE that second picture....you can just see the espressiveness in his eyes. I`ll bet he really is a laid back, easy gooing kitty.
I hope the intos go well too, and that he just fits right in.
He looks like s "RUSTY" or "PUNKIN" to me!

Mellie and Rocket are reacting fine so far. They've lost about a quarter of their territory with closing off the bedroom and spare bathroom, but don't seem to be too put out by it. They're aware that another cat is in there, but so far have only exhibited curiosity. I think today I'm going to start some scent swapping.

Rusty is the name that popped into my head too! he is a very handsome kitty-I love his colors, like an orangey-brown, don't think I've seen one like him!

I've got Rusty on my list, too, but for a different reason -- he makes a funny little noise that sounds like a squeaky door.

Oh he's gorgeous! And looks like a love-bug

The name that popped in my mind was Comet- don't know why, it just did

He is so cute - I love the lip marking.
Congratulations! Sounds like you have a lot of clever names to choose from!

After all..."3rd times charm."
Along the same theme, you could name him something Irish, as in "luck of the."
Fitzgerald ... Murphy ... Nolan ...

Or names that mean lucky: Asher (Hebrew), Balu (Hindi), Masoud (Arabic) ...

Or, lessee ... Mango (after the color of his fur), Marmalade (same thing), Mac (again with the Irish) ...

Actually, I'm going to put Mango on my list. That's pretty good. Some other recent additions to the list: Twinkie (orange and white) and Hotrod (he zips around.) Thanks, Lei, for the reminder to update. I started the crack in the door routine a couple days ago. Too small to stick a paw through. Hissing and evil eyes from Mellie. But he reacts well to it. Impatience from Rocket. He's still sneezing off and on. I don't know if it's a minor cold or just getting used to the new house. But anyway, I'm delaying actual contact for a little while longer just in case. Thanks for all your interest.

Thanks for the update Tim.
It is wise, for all concerned, to take your time with the introductions, for both health and emotional reasons.

Time will give you the right name for your handsome boy.

Keep us informed of your progress.
