You know you're getting old when

-your back goes out more often than you do

-when you bend down to pick up something, you look around to see if there is anything else you can pick up while you're down there anyway...

I know there's a whole list of these, and I'd love to read them all again; there were so many good ones! Right now I can relate to first one, as I'm lying around alot these days as my back went out (lifted a heavy dresser by myself; shame on me!)

Under a stack of blueberry waffles.
You're getting old when you don't care where your spouse goes, just as long as you don't have to go along.

You know you're getting old when you find that at your age, going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.

You know you're getting old when your little black dress looks great on your daughter.

You know you're getting old when the radio station, that played all the old stuff your parents liked and you didn't is now playing all the old stuff you like.

When you find yourself sitting on the edge of the bed with one sock on and one sock off and you can't remember if you were going to bed or getting up.

when they are remaking movies that were your favorites not too long ago....

when you hear songs you like and used to listen to on the "oldies" station...

when you start to realize how really comfortable that easy chair is....

when you lean on something first before bending to pick something up off the floor...

when you see the rebirth of clothing styles from when you were younger...

when you start to realize that maybe your parents were right about that afterall....

when you tell your children that they have no idea what they are talking about....about everything...

when you become invisible to teenagers of the opposite sex...........

when you don't recognize the names of the current bands and singers on the top of the music charts......

nothing like getting older

You know your getting old when the most interesting thing you've done all day incluedes watching the Golden Girls.

You know your getting old when the "coolest" word you can remember using lately is groovy.

Looking at some of these, I feel very old and forgetful. At fourteen, I am already begining to get alzeimers! Ahh! Scary thought. I don't think I like it much. Oh well, I guess we have to embrace getting older. We just can't stop it.

Getting "lucky" means you found your car in the parking lot.
