I was beginning to wonder!
I was almost positive it was a pastry like elephant ears but you had me a little disgusted anyways!

LOL!
Chances are it's the same, or nearly the same as an elephant ear, just with a different name.
Not that an actual beaver tail would be disgusting (I'll try anything once!), but that it'd be pretty expensive given their protected status

Ever seen Naked Gun with Leslie Nielsen? We stuff the beaver of course!

Yes I believe it is the same as an elephant ear.

OMG, this thread is making me hungry too! I try not to over do it with the fried foods, but my favorite battered & fried food are jumbo shrimp, soft-shelled crabs, oysters & okra.

OK...I have to stop reading this thread or it's going to blow my diet, so forgive me if this has been mentioned, but deep-fried Snickers bars are my personal favorite. (But I'm pretty sure they can clog your arteries just thinking about them.

I'm not a big fan of things that a battered...unless it's my ex-husband....LOL!!!

No, that was a joke......I just don't like really fatty things, but then again, hot chips deep fried in oil is a total favourite!! I try to stay away from those, because once I've started I just can't stop! I also like Tempura Prawns, but they don't seem fatty, for some reason.

My dad makes the best fried dough topped with cheese and green peppers, it's so good but I'm sure it's very fattening! I also love fried mozzarella, one of my absolute favorites. Gosh this thread is making me very hungry!

DEEP FRIED OREOS.

THE BEST THING EVER.

I want some now. The cookie gets all warm and chewy, and they put powdered sugar and chocolate syrup on them. Working at the Mall of America pays off in some small way...

i must be part of the minority but i really don't like battered food, it leaves a horrible greasy film in my mouth and makes me feel sick

i especially can't stand the thought of a deep fried mars bar, i'd have to be at the gym for a year
plus, it would taste aweful

i prefer fresh food like a salad, yoghurt, museli and fruit, plus there's no guilt lol

You're definitely right about that. I don't like it much, either.

And a deep-fried Mars Bar???

i just think there's no need to eat so much fat, i nearly died of shock when i read about all the things that have been deep fried, i love the original flavor of vegetables, deep frying them would ruin it for me

but i'm a exersise fanatic and love to eat healthy lol, i remember once i ate KFC and i accidently squeezed it, heaps of fat just dripped from it and that was the last time i even looked at the stuff.

i do eat junk sometimes too, i love homemade pizza, red rooster and mcflurries, just in moderation.

iv'e never tried the mars bar but i have a feeling it would be pretty gross

mmmmm....okay, i won't talk about it

i don't eat red meat, only chicken and seafood.

i also loooooove good quality chocolate but that's feel good food not junk food

one of the main reasons i don't eat a lot of junk is because i work out really hard and the last thing i want is that to go to waste.....i'll get off my soapbox now before i'm booed off the site
